  • I have one, passed down from my Dad, I don't know where he got it, but I see why it was chosen by this elite troop, it is very accurate.

  • It was probably a bit like the Thompson SMG. The Brits used those too. I'm willing to bet that the M1 Carbine was used more by commandos and SAS than your typical infantryman. They still used the good old Lee-Enfield.
