  • Why wouldn't he be? I'm genuinely interested. I have a wool jacket from the war with that patch.
  • Well, as I recall the "Ghost Army" was comprised of regular army units. Army Airforce personnel were not involved. There mission was to use deception to make the Germans think that there were actual tanks, troops, ground units, etc. in areas along the front to confuse the enemy. As far as I recall the deceptions did not include air units.
